Ultralight 15°F/-9°C You won't believe how much warmth and comfort you get from such a small package - the Nitro packs into a tiny sack (included), but stays toasty to 15 degrees. We build in Flex™ between the shoulders and knees, so you get the comfort and thermal benefits, while saving precious ounces. Continuous baffling and a draft tube contain 800-fill goose down, the warmest, lightest insulation available.

For superior comfort and heat retention, Sierra Designs incorporates Flex technology into several insulated jackets and sleeping bags.  With elastic built into the baffles of both down and synthetic jackets and bags, Flex technology hugs the body, eliminates dead air space, and keeps warm air close to the body.  And beyond just keeping you warmer, Flex jackets and sleeping bags move with you for better mobility and a more comfortable night’s sleep.

I have had this bag out in summer and winter...very flexible. It is perfect for me. Honestly how often are you routinely camping below 15 degrees? When I do that I have a more substantial bag. I wanted to illustrate how nice this bag is with an anecdote. I was camping with several of my kids--about 19 degrees at night. I had given one of my daughters a zero degree SD bag (older model) synthetic. I figured she'd definitely be warm with the lower rated bag. Well after several times of her waking up saying she was cold, I gave her the NItro 15. I had the older SD bag (0 degree). It doesn't have the flex/stretch ability and the dead space was unbelievable. The mummy hood was also loose around my head. I was cold! So, these nitro bags are sweet! Takes a few nights to get used to the snug feel around the chest but man the warmth is SO noticeably different! If you are just normal camping--then the 15 degree is a true 4 season bag. Anything more extreme then the nitro 0 or the BTU -5 are the way to go.

The bag you want. The flex technology brings the bag right next to your skin, getting rid of ANY dead air inside the bag. Super lightweight and you cant go wrong with down.

This bag is amazing and has already been a great companion on camping trips this summer. It's so lightweight and warm without making you sweat too much (the zipper on the foot box is key for this!). The only thing I would change about it would be to make the zipper full length. I know, it would take away from the lightweight nature of the bag... That's honestly the only thing I would change, the rest is perfection.
