OK, I'm old now and I wanted a new tent that I could stand up in and had room to move around in, but it also needed the features I was looking for. It needed to stay dry, ventilated, stand up to wind and be easy to set up. I did a crap load of research on 6 person tents and what it all boiled down to was taking my best shot and making the best choice based on my comparison shopping. I ordered the meteor light 6 in September. I went on a 5 day trip last Thursday, in the rain of course, wondering how my new purchase was going to hold up. I had set it up once when I bought it, and was pleasantly surprised by how fast it set up in the field. On Thursday night, the rain and wind came, and we got hammered, weather wise. Not only did the tent hold up to the wind, but it rained almost 2 inches that night and the tent was bone dry in the morning. The design is awesome, the space is palatial, the set up is a cakewalk, the poles and tent material are strong and well designed, and the full cover fly and tub floor provide complete protection. There may be other comparable tents for more or less money, but I believe I got the most for my money that I could have hoped for and I look forward to many more years of happy camping. The only thing I would recommend is that you put together videos of the set up for this tent and the others in your inventory individually so folks can see exactly what they're getting. You could post them on your site and youtube. Thanks SD!!
