Really light, especially relative to space, but what's really impressed me is the stability. Compared to a conventional tarp, the Origami handles weather from any direction. Most recently was up in the Indian Peaks here in CO front range with rain/hail/snow and 40+ mph winds and the Origmai was solid. The floor isn't just a floor but with its bathtub design it keeps the wind out, when you guy the tarp low. If it's not blowing, you guy it up and get as much ventilation as you need. Plus it's not just easy to pitch, it's fun because of its flexibility - all sorts of options. Downside... probably not the right choice if bugs are bad, at least not without head nets. I use my own ski or trekking poles and save even more weight. I also really like the pentagon shape in terms of how the interior space lays out - seems much more usable compared to a square.
