of outdoor enthusiasts thirsty for international adventure, the Sierra
Designs 2009 Wales Adventure Sweepstakes- a well-supported backpacking
trip for two to Wales- is now in it's final month with an entry
deadline of 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on September 30, 2009.
Launched in May to celebrate the prestigious Backpacker Magazine
Editors' Choice Award given to the Sierra Designs Lightning XT 4 tent,
the sweepstakes will come to a close and a winner will be announced in
early October. The winner and a guest will be flown to Wales for a
week's worth of outdoor adventure thanks to sweepstakes partners Visit
Wales, Virgin Atlantic Airways, and Sierra Designs.
"After four months, we are happy to report that our sweeps has
generated a ton of attention and we're picking up new entries every

In early October, our winner will be notified via email and will
have up to one year to schedule the trip. The full prize package will
consist of everything necessary for an incredible week spent exploring

custom travel throughout Wales.
The grand prize package includes a Sierra Designs Lighting XT 4 tent, two award-winning Verde
